How Much Weight Can I Lose In 1 Month

Let’s take this in 5 scenarios.

If you’re at a stage where you’re quite happy with your weight, but want to lose a few pounds for a holiday, or wedding, or some event where you want to look your best, then it will take a lot of effort  to lose 6 pounds in a month.

You can of course go on a crash diet, but these should only be followed for a maximum of 10 days.

This will involve a more ‘active’ involvement with your weight loss, rather than watching what you eat. Yes, of course, you will still need to be careful with the amount of calories you take in, but it’s far more important to get active.

Being close to your target weight will make it pretty hard to lose those last 6 pounds. You will have to really push yourself by exercise to get there, but wow! aren’t you lucky that you’re so close to your target weight?

More exercise should be enjoyed rather than endured.

How Much Weight Can I Lose In 1 Month – Overweight

OK, if you’re between 12 pounds and 25 pounds overweight, losing fat will be easier than being slightly overweight. Why?

You have more to lose and everything in this world is relative. It will still be quite difficult to shed a lot of weight in 1 month, it will fall off easier, but will slow down towards the end of the month, quite drastically!

The first two weeks on a diet of healthy eating and moderate daily exercise, say a 3 or 4 mile brisk walk EVERYDAY, should lose you between 8 and 14 pounds. Of course the more exercise you do, the more chance of losing more weight.

The last 2 weeks will be a lot slower, but you should take off another 3-5 pounds, making a loss of between 11 pounds and 19 pounds.

The incentive here is to push yourself hard because you are closer than millions of people to getting to your ideal weight.

Sensible eating with portion control and a good level of exercise will achieve good results in a month, so go for it!

How Much Weight Can I Lose In 1 Month – Very Overweight

If you’re between 20 pounds and 45 pounds overweight, the good news is that it’s even easier to lose weight than the previous category’s!

If you are serious about losing weight, then please realize this…it’s bloody hard to lose weight at anytime, but when you have fell into bad eating habits and poor exercise, it’s makes it even harder!

Get out of those habits, change and do the complete opposite.  Eat regular healthy meals and go out and get some exercise…any exercise! It’s better than doing nothing at all.

Spend the month really making an effort, don’t fixate about food, and break your pattern of inactivity.

The weight you can lose in 1 month will depend on your efforts, but saying you really did give it a go for those 30 days, you will see a weight loss of around 20 pounds and 28 pounds, remember these figures are for people who are VERY overweight, up to 40 pounds overweight.

Change your mindset, get your ass off the couch and drop the fries! Harsh but fair, I think you’ll agree!

Remember – YOU MUST BE VERY STRICT WITH YOURSELF!

Here, you will be 45+ pounds overweight, remember, it’s also relative to your body shape. If you’re 5 feet and under and are 45+ pounds overweight, you’re in trouble big time. You will need to, at the very least, see your Doctor.

Please, do the right thing and take control now. You will, and can lose 20+ pounds if you stop eating the wrong foods at the wrong time of the day.

Your weight loss will be slower because exercise won’t be strenuous. Taking on a demanding exercise program can have it’s downside. Your heart will be under stress because of the fat problem, so losing weight like this should be taken slowly, but you can still lose 20+ pounds by changing your diet.

When you lose that 20 pounds in the first month, then do some exercise to accelerate the weight loss throughout the next month.

The taller you are the more the fat is less visible, but that doesn’t mean you’re safe.

Being taller, say 6 feet+, and 45+ pounds overweight, you are still in danger of heart and health problems. You will need to drastically control your food portion and hit the streets for some exercise. If you do this by the book, and walk a few miles a day, you can expect to lose 25+ pounds in 1 month.
